"Out of love for his Ladies"

Passion for Profits: Out of love for his Ladies: Angie’s Gourmet Oatmeal Cookies
Cleo Allen of “Angie’s Gourmet Oatmeal Cookies”

“So what started as Gregory's love for me is now being continued out of love for Angie” states Cleo Allen.
In 2006, Cleo was living and loving life until she was hit with news that would forever change her dietary intake and habits. She was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. The news she received caused her to slip into a slight depression, because that meant her lifestyle needed changing for her life’s sake.
As she sought out education to improve her lifestyle and condition she became aware that of the fact oatmeal stabilizes blood sugar. She shared the news with her better half, Gregory, who has a love for the kitchen, and begins to bake up a batch of oatmeal cookies just for her. Cleo was not impressed with the cookies until she tasted one and immediately felt in love with them. As Gregory attempted to make the cookies for diabetics, the standards of the cookie have not yet met the mark to be labeled a diabetic cookie according to the Diabetes Association. With more research and love for his honey, Gregory is perfecting the cookie to meet those standards for Diabetics, Sugar-Sensitive Individuals, those Gluten-free and Vegan Dieters.
As Gregory continue to honor Cleo with making something to please her sweet tooth and acknowledging her disease, people begin to sample the cookies. To their amazement, people felt in love and encourage the couple to market the delicious cookie. Gregory and Cleo laughed at the idea. As the two sat on the idea and continue to bake and just enjoy the cookie Gregory was hit with another tragedy. Mother’s Day 2007, his sister Angie died of kidney complications. With another tragedy in his life Gregory’s perspective begin to shift. In 2008, Angie’s Gourmet Cookies” were birthed. With the blessings from a highly respected role model encouraging them to go forward d with Angie’s Gourmet Cookies they have never looked back.

There are several delicious flavors: Butterscotch Oatmeal (first flavor), Cranberry White Chocolate, Blueberry White Chocolate, Peanut Butter, Golden Raisin, M&M's Oatmeal, Milk, Semi-sweet and Dark Chocolate Oatmeal.
Their ultimate goal is to use part of the proceeds to establish a kidney foundation in Angie's name.

Armani or Accelerated Death Benefit?

Manolo Blahnik or Money Market?

Stilettos or Savings Account?

Which one is most familiar in your world? As women, it is easy to fall into the shiny silver syndrome. We are typically late bloomers when it comes to investing in ourselves and our future. This too can change, but the first step is action. There are many ways to look fabulous on a dime. There are websites where you can rent cocktail dresses for the evening, rent an authentic designer handbag and still have enough to put away for a rainy day. Because women tend to live longer than men, it is important that we begin to invest earlier in our future. Ideally, as soon as we begin to earn dollars. We bare children and are often left to care for them alone. By a way of divorce, widowed, or out of wedlock; which will deter savings or we just simply never getting involved in the process at all.

There are ways to get the best of what you want and still invest in your future. The main thing is getting started. Here are some tips to get you that are simple but empowering:

1. How much do you need to earn to still look beatimus and invest in your future? Knowing what is needed will assist you in developing a plan for getting what you want and knowing the amount that it will take to get you there. (Recommended reading: The four-hour work week by Timothy Ferris this can be ordered on www.amazon.com)

2. Savings should be a part of your budgeting and not what is left over after paying your bills. The golden rule is pay yourself first; if you are involved in a religious organization, pay yourself after God gets the first fruit. (www.ing.com)

3. Look for ways to lower your expenses. Are you paying for extras that you are not using? (A Gym membership, cell phone bell and whistles, heavy bottle water purchaser, etc.)

4. The number one step is action. Just looking at the numbers will not change them. Knowledge, Discipline and Increase are the only things that will help in this process.

5. If you just have to have those luxury spa pamper sessions consider going to training schools for massages, Mani and pedi’s, and for those in between hair appointments. (Empire Beauty School)

6. Remember stay fab, focused and stacked$

“Blinging All The Way to the Bank”

Passion into Profits: Anissa Vakay Armwood-Williams of Hopewell, Va.

“The response I have been receiving has been astounding”, expresses Anissa of Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry.

Anissa decided that the economy would not dictate her wealth; she partnered with Traci Lynn Fashion Jewelry in 2009 and never looked about. Anissa was viewing the catalog with the intent to purchase, as she flips through each page she instantly fell in love! She became aware that she could order everything without going into debt; at that point she was sold on the concept of looking fabulous and also creating wealth for herself and family.

Only being in the business two months has not stopped her success and the feeling of succeeding with each order that has been received. Her vision is to strengthen her business, expand personal relationships and mostly importantly establish business partnerships. In the new era of entrepreneurialism, Anissa has learned early what it takes to be successful and established.

Anissa has found a way to make woman feel and look fabulous without breaking the bank and create wealth for her. A philosophy that “Stilettos & Stacks” believes in.
